Personality[]
Melody is very friendly and outgoing despite her fear. Almost everybody she meets instantly likes her.
History[]
When Melody was about six, she heard her mother and father arguing, and screaming at each other late at night. Her parents woke her up the next morning and found that she refused to speak because of the argument. When she turned 7, her parents filed a divorce and her mother took her in the process. She spoke at school but often stuttered, starting her fear. Over the years, the arguments over the phone, and over her, caused her to completely fear speaking herself all together. She began studying the stars and nature. The notebook she used for speaking was usually filled up with nature sketches instead of words. One night, while she was staregazing, a small chunk of a meteorite grazed her left ear. From that day on she has worn the meteorite around her neck in a pouch. Her mother found the school through an old family friend who had a brother that had gone to the school.
